Phil Healy Visit

As part of the Dare to Believe programme, we were lucky enough to be awareded a special visit from Irish sprinter Phil Healy.
Phil received a rapturous welcome from all our pupils as she entered our school hall on Monday morning.
Phil gave an insight into her career through her presentation and gave so much time for questions throughout her visit. She is a true role model for all and her words will inspire many of our pupils into the future.
Our pupils even got some relay run tips at the end of the visit.  The future is bright!
All at Knockskeagh NS are very thankful for your presentation and time today Phil. Best wishes in all your future endeavours.  #daretobelieve @phil_healy

Halloween 2024

Halloween 2024

Halloween 2024

The weather failed to dampen spirits in our school today as our Halloween parade took place this year in our school hall.

What an array of creativity, color, and smiling faces!!

We must say a huge well done to all at home who helped create such magnificent costumes (and some terrifying ones too). No doubt it was difficult putting together the final touches this morning 😁

We encouraged the use of recycled costumes this year as part of our Green Schools initiative and the standard was extremely high this year.

Our Student Council judged this years halloween costumes and they  had a tough job on their hands to pick award winners from all these amazing creations.

Please see our picture gallery below for a snapshot of some of the amazing costumes around our school today.

Mid-term Break

We hope all pupils, parents, and staff enjoy a well-earned rest during the midterm break.

Happy Halloweensmile
