An amazing day for Knockskeagh Atlethics team at the Cork Primary Schools Sports event today 🟣🟢

We had 39 pupils represent us and well done to you all!! We are very proud of you, getting the opportunity to compete at one of Irelands largest sporting youth events is a special memory to cherish. 👏

Plenty silverware returns back to Knockskeagh with our team. 🏆🏅🥈🥉

Girls Team

The girls started our morning off in MTU and the sprint results were as follows;

Our junior girls relay team of Lucille Walsh, Laoibhse O’Hara, Elizabeth Hurley and Sive O’Sullivan won gold 🏅 and the champions shield 🛡

Our senior girls relay team of Éabha O’Leary, Kate Hayes, Gracie Kelleher and Leah Deasy took home silver trophies 🥈

Boys Team

In the afternoon, it was the turn of our boys team to take centre stage. Their sprint results were as follows;

Luke Thompson bronze 🥉
Joseph Scanlan silver 🥈
Will Mercier bronze 🥉
Noah Buttimer bronze 🥉

Our junior boys relay team of Daithí O’Brien, Kai Keenan, Seán Kissane and Sam Harrington won bronze in their relay race. 🥉

Well done to all our coaches, they did brilliant work preparing our team over the last few weeks. 👏

Many thanks to all parents who supported us in MTU, Cork today and helped to transport our team. 🙏
