Active Week 2026

Active Week 2026

We had a blast in Knockskeagh NS last week celebrating Active Week 2026!!
Our Active Leaders can be proud for their efforts in organising our Morning Shake Ups, FMS stations in our junior class yards and our golf masters staff challenge. Well done to our champs!!
We’d a Table Tennis Takeover in our schoolyard all week for 2nd to 6th classes.
Other highlights included GAA with Conan and tennis with Alan in our astro turf.
Also, our 3rd and 4th class continued their “Unleash Your Drive” programme with Robert Cussen of Golf Ireland. These sessions are proving a real hit this year!!
Daily active breaks, active homework and feel good music at lunchtime were other activities enjoyed by our pupils last week.
It certainly was a lively and engaging week, with the children embracing every activity with energy, and of course plenty of smiles. @active_school_flag #ASW26
