Golf Classic

Our third annual Golf Classic will take place this Saturday October 12th in Clonakilty Golf Club.

This year funds raised will go towards Special Education Development in our school. All support for this worthy cause would be greatly appreciated  🙏

Our golf classic is a 3-ball scramble this year, and we welcome all golfers, experienced and not-so-experienced, on the day. It promises to be great fun!

This year we will have a separate juvenile competition as well.

Golf Raffle

As part of the golf classic fundraiser, we are selling raffle tickets where the 1st prize is a four-ball in the prestigious Old Head of Kinsale golf course.

If interested in supporting us, please contact the school via phone or email.

Many thanks for all your support, we are extremely gratefull.

Our 4th, 5th and 6th class girls and boys teams took part in the recent Sciath na Scoil camogie/hurling blitz held in Skibbereen GAA club this morning.

Well done to all involved in the organisation of this competition today.

Today was a grading blitz to see what school teams would be suited to play against our school in another blitz in the coming weeks.

Our boys and girls teams showed great skill, endeavor, and attitude in all their games.

It was a positive experience for all our pupils some of whom never played hurling or camogie before.

Well done everybody for giving your all this morning smile

Dare to Believe Award

We were delighted to be awarded a Dare to Believe flag this week. We received this as our 2nd Class have engaged with the Dare to Believe Olympic Values programme which brings the Olympics to the classroom and inspires students to Dare to Believe in themselves.
As well as this, our whole school have engaged with Olympic movement breaks in each classroom and all received an inspiring virtual visit from Irish rower Aifric Keogh through this programme. Also, we held our own Knockskeagh Olympics this year where the Olympic values in the programme were a central theme for our games. Well done to all involved.
