To all of 2nd Class,

Today would have been your First Holy Communion celebration. We hope you get to mark it in your own special way.

The thoughts of all the staff at Knockskeagh National School are with you and we look forward to your special day when things get back to normal. Hopefully very soon.

The children once again took part in their own “Seo Gaeilge” this year.  The junior classes (Junior infants to 2nd class) performed on Wednesday the 11th of March and senior classes performed on Tuesday the 10th of March.  The children also took part in quiz time as Gaeilge and celebrated Gaeilge through the arts.  Mar a deir siad ‘BAIN TRAIL AISTI’.

As the slogan says ‘HAVE A GO WITH GAEILGE AND SURPRISE YOURSELF’.

Also, we were delighted to welcome John Spillane back again this year for Seachtain na Gaeilge.  He entertained us all with his songs and stories, and we know the children benefited from this experience.
