Dare to Believe

Our sixth class are taking part in the ‘Dare to Believe’ Irish Olympic Schools programme.
Today, we had a fantastic zoom call with Irish Olympian Boxer Gráinne Walsh.
It was fascinating to hear all about Gráinne’s career highlights.  She spoke about how an Olympian trains, lives, and much much more. Gráinne took the time to answer so many questions about her career too. It was simply brilliant!
We look forward to the programme, especially after the call with our ambassador Gráinne.

Mid Term Break

Mid Term Break

Mid Term Break

The school will close this Friday, 23rd October for Mid-Term break.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your help in making the return to school so seamless for everyone.  Things have undoubtedly been a little different since we returned on the 31st August, but the children have all embraced their ‘bubbles & pods’ and are certainly enjoying being back with their friends.

We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday, the 2nd of November after a great Halloween.

Happy Halloween everybody. smile

Halloween Parade 2020

Halloween Parade 2020

Halloween Parade 2020

On Friday the 23rd of October, we had our annual Halloween Parade. All the children put in a huge effort and it was one we certainly won’t forget.

Our parade took place on our school track this year which meant all pupils walked 25om in the parade.  Also, all pupils were fantastic at staying within their class bubbles which of course was really important.

Prizes were awarded to pupils with the best costumes made from recycled material. The judges had a tough job on their hands to pick award winners. Huge credit must go to all who helped create such magnificent costumes, the standard was truly amazing.

Well done to all pupils who made this such a special day.

More Halloween pictures to follow soon.

Happy Halloweensmile
