World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day

“In a world where you can be anything, be kind”

Tomorrow is World Kindness Day and today our Wellbeing team informed each class of the benefits of being kind to each other on a daily basis.

Encouraging kindness can help promote health, happiness, success and helps to create a less stressful environment for everyone.

Tomorrow, each of our pupils will aim to complete at least one intentional act of kindness to benefit someone else.

Maybe all our school community and followers would like to get in on the act tomorrow too. 😊

No matter what you decide to do, your act of kindness will unite you with others dedicated to changing the world one kind act at a time. ❤️

Halloween 2025

Halloween 2025

Halloween 2025

As ever there was great excitement for our annual Halloween parade which took place on our school yard this year.

Huge credit must go to all who helped design and create such magnificent costumes. There was so much creativity on display throughout the classes. 😁

We encouraged the use of recycled costumes this year as part of our Green Schools initiative and the standard was extremely high.

Our panel of secret judges had a tough job on their hands to pick award winners from each class.

Please see our video reel below for a flavour of the amazing costumes on display around our school today.

We hope all pupils, parents, and staff enjoy a well-earned rest during the midterm break.

Huge congratulations must go to our camogie team this week. After two amazing group stage wins, they played magnificently well in the final against St Josephs GNS Skibbereen and were deserving cup champions on the day.

Our hurling team did incredibly well to get to their cup final after a win against Bandon Primary School but unfortunately narrowly lost to deserving cup winners Scoil Mhuire agus Bharra, Bantry in the final.

On both days, it was really encouraging to see our young hurlers and camogie players playing their hearts out for our school. Well done to all involved.
