FAI Soccer 2026

Our school soccer teams competed in the FAI Primary 5 a-side County Qualifiers recently.

We had two boys teams and two girls teams representing our school in each tournament which was fantastic to see.

Our boys tournament took place in Drinagh and they played games against Dunmanway Boys, Laragh NS, Newcestown NS, St Marys Central School and Castletownbere.

Our girls tournament took place in Lakewood and the girls played games against Coachford, Farran NS and Ballyheeda NS.

Both our girls and boys’ teams played really well in the tournaments and all teams’ efforts were rewarded with positive results in the group stages.
One of the Knockskeagh NS girls team made it all the way to the final just losing out by the slightest of margins to qualify for the County Finals in the end.
Well done to all teams who performed very well and displayed a great attitude throughout the tournaments.
