Safer Internet Day

We marked Safer Internet Day in all our classes last Tuesday 10th of February.

This years theme was “AI Aware: Safe, Smart, and in Control” .

Each class focused on educating our pupils about being safe online – their rights, wellbeing online, what to look out for and when to speak up. We ran an “AI” art competition throughout all our classes too, ably led by the IT pupil team in our schoool.

Parents Internet Safety Presentation

On the evening of Tuesday February 10th, we invited all parents of our school community to an Internet Safety Presentation. The presentation focused on helping parents support parents in staying safe online, covering topics such as social media use, AI and other topics. It will also provide practical advice and an opportunity to ask questions.

Thank you to staff Aoife and Aidan, as well as Garda Liam Ryan for their presentation.

There was so much invaluable information to take on board for everyone present on the night.
