Camogie and Hurling Finals
We’d a great week of sporting action over the last week on local GAA fields. Both our camogie and hurling teams represented our school so well displaying great endeavour, attitude, teamwork and skills throughout each competition.
Huge congratulations must go to our camogie team this week. After two amazing group stage wins, they played magnificently well in the final against St Josephs GNS Skibbereen and were deserving cup champions on the day.
Our hurling team did incredibly well to get to their cup final after a win against Bandon Primary School but unfortunately narrowly lost to deserving cup winners Scoil Mhuire agus Bharra, Bantry in the final.
On both days, it was really encouraging to see our young hurlers and camogie players playing their hearts out for our school. Well done to all involved.
