Maths Week 2023
We marked ‘Maths Week’ this week, from Monday 16th October to Friday 20th October.

We have had a very busy week in Knockskeagh doing lots of different Maths activities! We had Maths art challenges, quizzes, Maths games on the iPads, an orienteering Maths code-breaker challenge around the school grounds, “Maths Eyes” stations in the Infant classrooms where the children participated in different Maths activities and trying to figure out different Maths puzzles.
Everyone was given the chance to guess how many sweets were in their class jar, with the winner of each class getting to keep the whole jar. 🍬Looking at the photos, can you guess how many sweets were in the jars?
Congrats to the winners in each classroom! 👏
It really was great fun discovering Maths all around our school during the week!!

Nature Walks and Biodiversity in Knockskeagh
Last Wednesday the 2nd of October, all classes spent time in our beautiful garden and surrounds planting seeds, looking for helicopters and making seed bombs. Thank you to Jessica Mason for a very informative and fun day, we really enjoyed your visit.Related Posts
